Let’s talk home decor!  Who doesn’t love home décor these days?! I live for trips to TJMaxx, Marshalls, and Target just to browse and stumble upon something cute to add to my home.

Nothing is more satisfying than finding those, amazing affordable finds that won’t only brighten up your space but will also brighten your day.

I’m sharing some simple and stylish finds that are basic affordable décor items that I am loving lately.  All are budget-friendly so take a look, I’m sure you will find something here that you will love too!

Home Decor Finds:

1.  Candles

I love the look of these small glass candles from Anthropologie. I haven’t personally tried these yet but have had my eye on them.  They come in such nice subtle neutral colors.  I’d style them on my nightstand or bathroom countertop!

These HomeLights scented candles from Amazon are one of my all-time favorites.  This candle is huge and will last you quite a while.

The scents smell amazing and the neutral-colored jars they come in will add the perfect piece of decor to any nightstand or kitchen island. I love to repurpose the jars once the candle is completely burned too!

Candles are one of the best affordable options for home decor and who doesn’t love a good candle?  I think the best way to make your home smell amazing is by using candles vs using room sprays.  There’s just something comforting and cozy about them as well.

And they aren’t just for the beautiful fragrance they offer.  The aesthetic look of a candle is just as important as the smell making it a great inexpensive option for home decor.

2.  Salt & Pepper Dish Set

This marble salt & pepper set is very similar to a set I purchased through H&M.  I love the look of this on top of my kitchen countertop.  Some other great options that I found on Amazon are these round marble salt and pepper pots and these bamboo salt and pepper cellars.

Any of these options will offer such a nice home decor touch to your kitchen.  This set is such a great alternative to the standard salt and pepper shaker.  What I like about this option is that they don’t get clogged up the way traditional shakers do.

But honestly, nothing really beats the aesthetic look that this piece will add to your space.  This salt and pepper dish set makes another affordable option for a nice touch of home decor!

3.  Garland Wooden Beads

These garland wood beads pictured here are a nice two-tone option from Etsy.  Another option is this wood bead garland (2 pack) that I personally purchased through Amazon.

Garland wood beads are a recent new look in home decor.  They are a really great affordable decor piece that you can literally style in any room of your home.   And they are sold almost anywhere.

Style them with a candle or stacked books on a coffee table, nightstand, or bookshelf.  They will definitely add a nice aesthetic look to just about any space in your home.

4.  Green Plants

This White Bird of Paradise Plastic Pot from Lowe’s is a great deal!  Home Depot offers a similar option in this Live Potted Tropical Plant.

This is one of my favorite home decor looks and I can’t seem to get enough of it.  First of all, bringing green into your home is a great way to add a special touch of nature to your home.

Buy a tall one for the corner of a room or a small one for the bathroom sink or nightstand.  This is one of the most versatile items for home decor to suit any space that needs a touch of color!  The best part is that green plants never really go out of style!

5.  Jewelry Organizers

Here’s a small but practical cute jewelry box & organizer that is perfect for all your different pieces and displays so nicely.  This ivy white wooden jewelry organizer is the same one with a better price at Home Depot.

I also am really loving this jewelry tree stand and acrylic jewelry box that I purchased from Amazon.  I get tons of great use out of both and love how it displays all my pieces.

So go on and use your jewelry as home decor!  Displaying jewelry not only provides for beautiful decor but it reminds you what pieces you have so you don’t forget to wear them.

It also adds accents of gold or silver to your bedroom.  Other great places to look for some of the best affordable jewelry stands and organizers are your local stores like TJMaxx and Marshalls.

6.  Desks

This Loring Wood Writing Desk from Target is an awesome deal for a desk this nice.

I purchased a very similar option to this home computer desk from Amazon and I love it!

I mean have you seen all the cute desk styles lately?  A cute desk in a home office is a must-have these days and not just for someone who works from home.

And with so many great options you are bound to find one that suits your style.  If you are going to have a desk in your office then you want it to look Instagram-worthy, right?

The best thing about them is that they don’t have to be used just as desks either.  They are easily styled at the entryway of your home or as a console table in your living room. Home depot and Walmart also have great affordable options to check out.

7.  Kitchen Towels

H&M has these 2-pack Cotton Tea Towels for a great neutral look.  I also like these Kitchen Towels (Set of 4) from Bed Bath & Beyond.  I personally own this set of 3 kitchen towels from Amazon and I love them!

If colorful patterns and designs are more ideal for you then check out Geometry House. They have some of the cutest designs to pick from and you can choose by color pallets.  This Diedre Kitchen Tea Towel is one of my personal favorites.

I feel that kitchen towels are such an important piece of home decor for your kitchen.  Whether you prefer subtle neutral tones or brighter more colorful patterns, they just add so much character to your kitchen.  They truly are what brings an entire kitchen look together!

8.  Bookshelves

This ladder bookshelf offers the perfect neutral tone colors to any space with light-colored wooden shelves.  It’s a great space for adding all your decor items and create a beautiful look in any living space of your home.  This bookshelf from Amazon is another nice affordable option.

Bookshelves are a must-have for most spaces these days.  I love them because it provides a way to decorate a large area of space where you are able to add all those decor items that you have been collecting and create an amazing space full of things you love.

If you’re not quite sure how to decorate then just browse through Pinterest and you are sure to find all kinds of inspiration.  Hobby Lobby would be a great place to find cute knick-knacks that will suit your style at affordable prices.

9.  Floor mirror

I absolutely love the neutral look of this wood floor mirror by the Studio McGee line at Target!  Amazon also has some pretty nice affordable options.

This floor mirror is a really nice elevated choice with its thin frame look. And it comes in three great color options to choose from!  Most mirrors with this style go for hundreds of dollars so these options offer the same look at a much cheaper price!

There are so many style options to choose from when it comes to mirrors.  I love that these long mirrors have become such a staple for home décor lately.

You can literally put one of these floor mirrors in any room and instantly make a small area or room look so much bigger.  An ideal place for one is at the entryway so you can make sure you are put together before you walk out the door!

10.  Lamps

This floor lamp from Urban Outfitters is the perfect simple lamp to offer a warm ambiance that only a lamp can provide.  It really is a must-have for any living space.  I also found this textured ceramic mini accent lamp from Target.  It’s a great inexpensive option for an accent table lamp.

Lamps are a lot like candles.  They provide a cozy feel to any room.  Whether it’s a floor lamp or accent table lamp, it really doesn’t matter which size you prefer.  Both will offer a nice dimmer light option while providing a must-have decor touch in your home.

11.  Books

If you are looking for this expensive designer decorative book look for less then try these silver black and white hardcover decorative books on Etsy.  They offer the perfect look and have some great reviews.

Amazon also always offers a good variety of decorative books to choose from.  This Live Beautiful book and this Down to Earth one are some of my personal favorites.

The decor on the pages in these two books is gorgeous too!  They are sure to get your creative mind flowing with all kinds of great decor ideas for your home!

 I love that books are not just for bookshelves anymore.  Add them to your coffee table or bookshelf.  Recipe books are also great as added décor on the kitchen counter stacked with a candle or plant.

12.  Throw blankets

Here’s a beautiful linen and Turkish cotton throw blanket from the Loomia.  I recently saw it advertised on Instagram.  I think they have some of the most amazing throw blankets at great prices.  Check them out on Etsy also.  Sometimes they run discounted prices there.

This herringbone throw is another great option from Target.  I also love this fringe throw blanket from their Hearth & Hand line.

Throw blankets are a must in my house because I’m always cold.  So it’s perfect that they double as a great throw on the sofa or at the end of your bed.  These throws will add the perfect touch of texture to either space.  You absolutely cannot go wrong with a beautiful throw like this!
