Almost all of these sites run great discounts year-round.  Some are offered directly on-site while others offer special discount codes by subscribing to email or text alerts.

 TARGET | Who doesn’t love a reason to shop at Target?  Target is a woman’s dream wonderland store for all things must-have.  Target is not only great for those cute home décor and office items.  Target has some of the cutest clothes.

I don’t think that I ever walk into Target without checking out their newest clothing finds! If you’re looking for basic affordable capsule wardrobe pieces then make sure to make time to shop their clothing section on your next trip.

From cute pajama sets, graphic t-shirts, sweats, and casual work attire, Target is definitely a must-stop shop!

 

WALMART | Okay, in a couple of years Walmart has become a serious competitor for all kinds of clothing and accessory staples.  They seriously have some of the cutest prices and omg they have some of the best prices around!

No joke!  I’m loving the variety of options they have for flare jeans, sweats, and tops!  I have picked up a few items from Walmart and strongly suggest you check them out! You are sure to find some pretty classic and affordable capsule pieces here!

H&M | Can’t say enough about H&M.  They have some of the best pieces that are ideal for mixing and matching and creating tons of outfits!  I love their blazer options for example.

And with a store that offers everything from trendy handbags, shoes, jewelry, and clothing you cannot go wrong taking some time to stop and shop here!  The pieces and prices are unmatched!

Oh, and make sure to check out their home section for some great home decor items at great prices!

OLD NAVY | One of my oldy but goody stops!  Old Navy has never disappointed.  Always competitive with their styles and prices.  It has always been a budget-friendly on-trend shop.  They have great options for athleisure and outerwear too.

I scored the best puffer jacket this past Fall at half the price!  It’s a great place to shop during the holidays when they often markdown items at 50% off between Black Friday and Christmas.

I know the puffer I purchased last year will have a long life in my capsule wardrobe!

 

FOREVER 21 | Uh… yes, please!  It’s literally a one-stop-shop for everything you could need.  And forget the name!  You’re never really too old to shop here! This place is heaven for any gal on a budget looking for staple pieces for any occasion.

Forever 21 continues to step up its game year after year!  These pieces are so on-trend and the prices are beyond affordable.  Any time of the year is a great time to check out what’s new at F21!

You will not be disappointed and you are sure to find quite a few staple items to add to your capsule!

RED DRESS | This online boutique is pure class!  Prices vary but the pieces will last you years.   They have some of the best quality clothing and handbags that I have added to my capsule wardrobe.

LULU’S | This is one of my all-time faves!  I fell in love with Lulu’s years ago.  Here’s a boutique that will offer an array of pieces to add to your capsule.

However, the shoe and handbag collections are unmatched!  They seriously have every style of shoe at every price for every budget.  And the clothing is oh-so-cute!

PINK LILY BOUTIQUE | I recently found this little online boutique and I have to say that I love it for the unique yet trendy tops they offer.  Camouflage your thing?  Check!  Leopard? Check!

And the list goes on and on.  They have some really cute dresses and great loungewear as well.  Get on their email or text list for great offers weekly!

 

CARLY JEAN LOS ANGELES | I do not think that I could ever say enough about this one.  I started following this store on Instagram about 3 years ago and it has instantly turned into one of my absolute favorite places to shop! And I am not joking!

The pieces mostly made all in LA are the essential pieces for building any capsule wardrobe!  Not only is the brand amazing, but the customer service is on point!  Not sure what size to buy?

VICI COLLECTION | Any girl’s dream boutique for clothing pieces that will stand out and draw attention!  This shop has all the latest trends and almost always has a 20% coupon for any purchase.

So make sure you get on that mailing list!  Warning.. things here sell out quickly! So if you’re eyeing it, buy it!

MISSGUIDED | If you prefer some of the latest cutest trends then Missguided has it all.  They have some of the best loungewear pieces and sets.  And their prices are just as great.

They almost always have a great sale going on so just about everything they offer is extremely affordable!  I personally love their loungewear/sweatsuit sets.

These are pieces I plan to have in my closet rotation for years to come and that will easily mix and match with other capsule pieces in my closet.

PRETTY LITTLE THING | Just like Missguided, PLT has super cute pieces to pick from.  Anything from clothing to accessories.  If you’re on a tight budget this is a place to surely consider browsing.

They also run great sales year-round so you are sure to score some pretty great pieces that you will most certainly get a lot of years and use out of.  It’s definitely a budget-friendly place to shop and score some amazing pieces!

AMAZON | Do I need to say anything other than the word Amazon?!  Lol… What an amazing invention, seriously! How did we ever live without it?

I’m 1000% guilty of being a weekly purchaser for anything on Amazon.  But more importantly…  have you tried the clothes?  Do your research here!

AERIE/AMERICAN EAGLE | American Eagle has evolved so much by adding the Aerie line to their store.  I mean they not only have the best all-around loungewear ever, but I am loving their swimwear also!

Seriously if you’re looking for some great swim options then make sure to make time to browse their collection.  From their oversized sweatshirts, leggings, to their undergarments… their prices and quality are pretty darn good!  Not to mention the sales, sales, sales!

Make sure to sign on to the text and email alerts for extra savings.

EXPRESS | This one has always been a good one.  And it seems like lately, they’ve only gotten better.

Most known for their Portofino button-down shirts and amazing workwear attire, Express has continued to compete and deliver quality pieces that are perfect to add to a capsule wardrobe.

In addition, they continue to have some of the best accessories around from shoes, handbags, and jewelry.

 

LOFT | Known for their very classic, simple, casual pieces and their bright and beautiful patterns!  If you like printed tops and shorts then Loft has some of the best.

Not to mention that LOFT is one of the best places to shop for professional workplace attire.   And the fit of their clothes is on point with petite sizing also available.

They always have a great sale section where you will find some of the best deals!

ABERCROMBIE | Don’t sit on those sales!  Abercrombie has a variety of pieces that are perfect for any capsule.  Their jeans are ideal with every style available.

Also,  their basic t-shirts, button-downs, and outerwear are really classic staple pieces to check out.  What I love about Abercrombie is that their prices and sales have become so much more reasonable than in their earlier years.

So you definitely want to check out their sales on a regular basis because those quality capsule prize pieces will go fast!

URBAN OUTFITTERS | UO is great for a more edgy and/or relaxed look.  If you love the oversized graphic t-shirt look then start here! You are sure to be comfy and look cute!

This is a really good place to find loungewear and tees that will last years in your closet!  Not to mention, UO is another online shop that offers a great home decor section so make sure to check it out too!

NORDSTROM | Nordstrom is most definitely the place to shop for almost anything!  Known mostly for their clothing and shoes, but make sure to check out the jewelry, makeup, and other accessories for amazing pieces and prices!

One downfall here.. popular items sell out quickly.  For better deals make sure to become a Nordstrom account holder for early access and better deals.

NORDSTROM RACK | If you love the latest trends as much as you love a great price then Nordstrom Rack is most certainly where you should be shopping!  They have great markdowns on some of the most wanted items.

I strongly suggest that you subscribe to their updates so that you do not miss out on all those great deals because they can and will sell out at these amazing prices.

BANANA REPUBLIC |  For the more preppy, simple look BR is for you.  You will most certainly find staple capsule wardrobe pieces here.  Prices can be high so again savings are where it’s at on email lists, and shopping those holiday specials.
